Petrovaradin Fortress

The beautiful fortress is located on banks of the Danube River, and it is one of the main and most visited sites in Serbia. Also known as the Gibraltar of Danube, the building’s construction began in 1692 and finished almost a century later, in 1780. There are hidden underground tunnels, as well.

Danube’s Street

Danube’s Street is considered one of the oldest streets in Novi Sad. This well-known promenade is full of small boutiques, pastry shops and little cafes. At the end of the street there is a huge, beautiful park, which also bears the Danube name.
