London, a city best known for the Big Ben, the iconic red buses and of course, the Royal Family, is an ultra-modern city with rich history that offers many great places to marvel at.

Here are three unique places in London you simply must visit!

The Globe Theatre

The first Globe theatre was home to many of Shakespeare’s famous plays, but unfortunately it was burned down during the performance of Henry VIII in 1613. In order to rebuild the iconic building as faithfully to the original as possible, architects used the same materials and construction methods that were used when it was first built.

Prime Meridian, Greenwich

The prime meridian in Greenwich divides the Earth in two hemispheres. It was established by Sir George Airy in 1851 and has been used as the reference meridian since 1884. Stand on the Prime Meridian Line and be at two hemispheres at same time!

South Bank

This place has over 14 million visitors per year. With around two miles of art and entertainment venues located between the bridges and a beautiful view of the city landmarks such as St. Pauls, the Tower of London and Big Ben, this place is a must-see for everyone who appreciates beautiful architecture.
