Dubai is home to more theme parks than we can count, and we’ve noticed some of them have one thing in common—and we’re not talking about water parks. This bustling city in the United Arab Emirates is home to several amusement parks themed around popular culture, starting with these three.
IMG Worlds of Adventure
Dubai’s first themed entertainment complex IMG Worlds of Adventure is home to five epic zones, and two of them happen to be pop culture-themed. The first is inspired by Cartoon Network shows, while the second one pays homage to Marvel movies and comic books, offering rides, restaurants, and shops inspired by the iconic franchise.
Motiongate Dubai
Motiongate is another Hollywood-inspired theme park in Dubai, offering rides, live shows, and dining and shopping areas. These attractions are inspired by very specific movies, from Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games and John Wick to animated classics from DreamWorks and Columbia Pictures, because it was opened in collaboration with these studios.
BollywoodParks Dubai
Dubai is also home to a theme park inspired by Indian cinema. BollywoodParks is styled like a set of a Bollywood movie, offering rides, stunt shows, and performances, and it’s being hailed as the world’s first and only theme park dedicated to Bollywood.
