One of the hardest parts of planning your trip is looking for accommodation that’s affordable, reliable and well-located at the same time. Finding a hostel that ticks all the boxes is extremely hard, and it usually won’t be the cheapest one you come across.

Rating and Reviews

Don’t book a hostel just because it’s cheap before going through a couple of reviews. Experiences of fellow travelers who were there before you say a lot about this place, so make sure that the hostel you’re picking has a decent rating, as well.

Location

If your hostel is cheap but located far from all the attractions you want to see, it’s probably not worth a shot. You’ll waste a lot of money and time getting to the other side of the city, so it’s always better to spend a little bit more for well-located accommodation.

Free Breakfast

If you stumble upon a hostel that’s a little bit more expensive than the cheapest option, but offers free breakfast, as well – take it into consideration. You’ll end up saving a lot of money on food along the way, and it will end up being a good investment.
