Historic Venue
Salamanca Market opened its doors in 1972 and grew to about 300 stalls in the decades to come. It started as a summer market, but it was so popular that a winter market was also established and it grew into a weekly attraction as time went by.

Locals are just as excited about Salamanca Market as tourists because it’s not an attraction you can visit anytime you want. It’s only open on Saturdays, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and you’ll have a chance to mingle with the locals during your visit and feel right at home.
