Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of Australia’s most recognizable attractions, and you should definitely cross it at least once in a lifetime. A visit to Sydney is incomplete if you don’t walk across one of its most iconic structures, and here are three things you should keep in mind before doing so.

Easy Walk

Walking across some of the world’s most iconic bridges may seem like an intimidating experience, but there’s nothing to worry about when it comes to this one. Sydney Harbour Bridge is pretty easy to cross and it will take you less than 30 minutes to cross it.

Starting Point

You can start your walk over the bridge from The Rocks or Milsons Point, depending on which side of the city you are. Circular Quay is a popular starting point when you’re crossing the bridge from The Rocks and most people going across Sydney Harbour Bridge start their walk from there.

Stunning Views

One of the best things about crossing Sydney Harbour Bridge is its many stunning lookouts. Pylon Lookout is definitely the most popular and it offers a climb to 360-degree city views, but you’ll get amazing views of Sydney from this bridge no matter where you decide to make a stop.
