3 Things You Shouldn’t Do When the Beaches Reopen

Depending on where you live, you may already have access to beaches. Spending a day on the beach is always fun, but in the current state of the world it’s also risky if you don’t follow the safety requirements. Here are three things nobody should do on the beach right now.

Go to Crowded Places

The most important thing you can do is to avoid crowds. Pick the spots that don’t have many people and make sure to keep the proper distance. Make sure to always stay at least six feet away from anyone you don’t live with. This will be easier if you also avoid going at the peak time of the day.

Wear Mask While Swimming

While it’s important to wear your mask while you’re on the beach, wearing it in the water can give you the opposite result. Your mask will inevitably get wet and unwearable so you won’t have it for protection when you get out of the water.

Share Food

Now is definitely not the time to share food (or other things) with other people on the beach. You should also avoid buying food from the vendors, especially if there’s a big queue. It’s best to pack food for the day at home and bring it with you.
