3 Tips for Taking Better Holiday Photos

Who can resist the urge to take a lot of photos on a holiday? You see so many things you don’t get to see every day and you want to take the memories back home with you. But sometimes, your pictures don’t really show the destination as your eyes saw it. Here are three ways to take better holiday photos.

Shoot Distinctive Elements

If you want your photos to have a vibe of the place you’ve visited, make sure to include the local landmarks and objects in them. A photo of a regular street in London will look much better if it includes a red Double Decker bus in the foreground!

Play With Light

Light can completely change your photos so play around with different lights and see where it takes you. Don’t miss photographing around sunrise or sunset if you want to catch those beautiful colors.

Use Reflections

One of the easiest ways to get creative photos is to use puddles on the street to capture the reflection of the object. Depending on the position you’re able to find, these shots can look absolutely stunning! You can also use a mirror to achieve a similar effect so always carry one with you.
