Home of the first powerhouse civilization is home to many unique natural and historical places that are worth visiting. From the deserts in Egypt to the South African Republic, Africa has some truly magical places that offer experiences that are available only here! 

Nyungwe National Park, Rwanda 

Nyungwe is one of the oldest rainforests in Africa, and as such is extremely rich in biodiversity and breathtakingly beautiful. A vast area of mountain rainforest, it lies in southwest Rwanda at the border with Burundi. The National Park was established in 2004. 

Victoria Falls, Zambia-Zimbabwe Border 

One of the most famous waterfalls in the world is located in Africa, on the Zambezi river at the Zambia-Zimbabwe border. The Victoria Falls is a wonderful water spectacle, discovered back in 1855 by David Livingston. In fact, it is considered to be the largest fall in the world and its noise can be heard from a distance of 40 kilometers! 

The Pyramids in Giza, Egypt 

The first world wonders and once the tallest man-made objects on the globe, the Great Pyramids of Giza are maybe the most spectacular place in all of Africa. Located near Cairo, the methods of construction of the pyramids are still a mystery.
