London may not have the romantic reputation of Paris or Venice, but that doesn’t mean the English capital doesn’t have its own charming spots. Here are some of the best places in London for those looking for a romantic setting.

Secret Garden, Regent’s Park

Every Park in London has something to offer, but the varied gardens and hedgerows of Regent’s Park make it particularly suited for romantic walks. To find the secret garden, head to the Inner Circle in Regent’s Park and you’ll see an unmarked gate with a wisteria-clad tunnel.

Primrose Hill

London is generally quite a flat city, so natural viewpoints are rare. The best one is undoubtedly Primrose Hill, from the top of which you can see a stunning view of the city lights, surrounded by green fields.

Little Venice

This tranquil spot near Paddington Station is relatively little known. A stroll along the canal and a glass of wine in one of the many little pubs on the way may be just what you need.

The Meeting Place, St. Pancras

The Meeting Place is the official name of the 9-meter tall bronze sculpture at St. Pancras International train station. However, the statue is nicknamed “The Lovers” by many, as it features a man and a woman in a tight embrace.

Hampstead Heath

We couldn’t make a list of romantic spots in London without mentioning Hampstead Heath. This huge open space has some more intimate areas too like the Hill Garden and Pergola.
