Wat Pho

After visiting Wat Pho, you will feel you have witnessed the mother of all temples. Make sure you check out the giant golden reclining Buddha. Cover your shoulders and take off your shoes before entering the temple.

State Tower

The State Tower is a more modern landmark and is the most decadent five-star hotel in Bangkok. The State Tower is the first vertical destination in the world.

Wat Arun

A small boat will take you across the river to Wat Arun for less than 50 cents. The landmark is especially breathtaking during golden hours when the light reflects off the side of the temple.

M.R. Kukrit Heritage House

M.R. Kukrit’s House is a heritage museum dedicated to the former Prime Minister of Thailand, Kukrit Pramoj. It is a peaceful location and offers interesting insight into Thailand’s political past.

The Grand Palace is one of the most extravagant structures on earth. You can clearly see the remarkable landmark without even stepping foot inside.

The Giant Swing

The Giant Swing is over 20 meters tall and is an iconic Bangkok landmark. Men used to ride the swing to try and grab a bag of silver coins with their teeth. Fortunately, this dangerous custom is no longer practiced.
