A Mediterranean Multicultural Paradise

Cyprus is an island on the Mediterranean Sea, and it’s the fourth largest in that region after Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica.

Throughout history, Cyprus has been known as the prime goal of many conquerors who wanted a piece of its beauty.

Until recently, the island was divided into Turkish and Greek parts. Even now, there is a border in the middle of the city, but going from one side to the other won’t take more than a few minutes. The northeastern parts of Cyprus are controlled by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, whereas the south remains Greek.

Visiting this island is definitely worth your time and money, because it offers a one-of-a-kind experience of getting to know two different cultures without going to neither’s country of origin. All of the cities have in common breathtaking sunsets, lovely beaches, clear sky and good food.

The Mediterranean Sea is always warm and welcoming, just like the locals in Cyprus, so be prepared for a full-on summer adventure!
