Add Sand Harbor in Lake Tahoe to Your Summer Travels

If you’re looking for a casual weekend getaway with family or friends, drive down to Lake Tahoe. It promotes a bunch of family-friendly recreational activities, where you can ride a boat, go for a picnic and then swim in its waters after.

The summer is the busiest time of the year, with many food concessions everywhere. Bring your own plastic containers to avoid using plastic outside and keep in mind that glass containers are prohibited.

Hit the Lake

If you’re not keen on taking a dip, you can also go kayaking in its pristine blue waters. The colors will send you flying (or should we say swimning) into the deep blue waters!

Paddle Away

Have you tried Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP)? Then maybe this is the perfect time. Try standing on one of these boards for a good leg and upper body workout. You’ll be getting two birds with one stone by immersing yourself in nature and getting a good exercise!

Sit Back and Unwind

Normally, when travelling to lakes, the best activity involves being in the water. But for this kind of view, we highly recommend bringing your favorite book and slowing down by reading a few chapters. With a view like this, would you really want to go anywhere else?
