Amazing Exotic Animals You Can Find At Kruger National Park

This incredible park in South Africa is one of the biggest national parks in the entire world; it’s about 20,000 square kilometers of breathtaking wildlife. There are at least 145 species of animals at Kruger National Park. Here are only a few of the beautiful wild animals you can find there.

African Painted Dogs

Also known as the Cape hunting dog, or painted dog, these incredible pack animals are very endangered. Their biggest population can be found at Kruger National Park.

Pangolin

Pangolins are scaly, ant-eating mammals. They are incredibly rare and therefore considered one of the most hunted animals in the world. These strange animals have no teeth. Keratin spikes in their stomach help them digest food they have caught with their sticky tongues.

Black Rhino

Only 5,000 of this majestic creature are left in the wild today. Lucky safari goers may catch a glimpse of this beautiful animal on their tour.

Serval

This wild cat is commonly mistaken for a leopard or cheetah. They have the largest ears out of any cat, which makes for prime echolocation when hunting down prey.
