However, if there is no other choice and you have only 24 hours in Dubai, here is how you should spend them.

Get Some Breakfast at Jumeirah Beach Residence’s The Walk

Jumeirah Beach Residence is a popular residential area in Dubai, and “The Walk” is its most famous tourist attraction. Check out Ryman Auditorium and Other Nearby Music Attractions

There are several other music-related attractions nearby the Country Music Hall of Fame to check out. This includes iconic music venue Ryman Auditorium, Johnny Cash Museum, and Nashville Music Garden.

Start your day with a guided walking tour of Antigua, and walk through the narrow cobblestone streets as you explore historic ruins, colonial architecture, art, and haunting volcanic views. Be sure to stop at one of the several cafes for some of the tastiest coffees in the world as you overlook the mountainous views.

ChocoMuseo La Antigua

Stop in this museum and factory to learn about the history of cacao in Guatemala, the process of chocolate making and extraction from trees. Try your hand at a chocolate making class and eat your weight in artisan chocolates. This is a must for any trip to Gutamala.

If you booked a last-minute trip to Italy and are looking to take a budget friendly day trip from Naples, look no further! Enjoy this day trip filled with history, coastal views, and delicious Italian street food.

11:30-12:30 Naples Food Tour

Naples is famous for their street food. Book a tasting tour or just roam on your own as you sample Sfogliatelle, a warm and sweet Neapolitan dessert, fried pizza, folded pizza, and fried and stuffed pasta. Don’t forget to make a mandatory coffee stop for some of Italy’s finest espressos and people watching! The street food scene in Naples is nothing short of amazing.

1-4 Pm- Ferry from Naples to Sorento

Next, head to Sorrento where you can revel in the views of the Italian coast. Head to beach, explore the town, and drink plenty of Aperol and Spritzes! Wander the narrow streets as you explore lemon groves and. trees and sample the city’s famous limoncello liquor.

4-7pm – Tour of Pompeii

Book a tour from Sorrento to Pompeii either by coach bus, or by train. Often times professional tour guides wait outside Pompeii waiting to give you an expert tour from a local historian. Take them up on it and walk the streets of Pompeii as you revel in its historical significance. Head back in time as you explore the cobblestoned streets. We put Pompeii as the last part of your day, for the chances of catcing the beautiful historic ruins at sunset. Mount Vesuvius, the volcano that erupted and destroyed the city thousands of years prior, is haunting at golden hour.

Inspiration for travel can come from many places. Elizabeth Gilbert’s bestselling memoir, Eat, Pray, Love is one of them. Her book has inspired thousands of people to travel the world in search of finding their purpose and peace. While you may not be able to replicate Gilbert’s exact experiences, you can create your own Eat, Pray, Love-inspired itinerary.

Eat: Savor Culinary Delights

Start your journey by indulging in the world’s most delectable cuisines. You can visit Italy for pasta and gelato, explore the exotic flavors of Thailand, or delve into the spices of India. Wherever you go, do your best to embrace the local food culture, participate in cooking classes, and savor every bite.

Pray: Connect With Your Spiritual Side

The “Pray” phase is about finding inner peace and connecting with your spiritual self. So pick a journey that resonates with your spiritual beliefs. Meditate, practice yoga, or simply sit in silence to find your inner balance.

Love: Embrace Self-Discovery

The final phase, “Love,” is all about self-discovery and personal growth. Pick a destination that will be a good place for self-reflection. Tuscany, Italy, is a peaceful countryside setting. Or visit the tranquil beaches of Bali. Wherever you choose, take time for activities like journaling, yoga, and mindfulness.

So you have only 24 hours to see what Nashville, Tennessee, is all about? Tough ask but not impossible. Here is how you should spend your time in Nashville if you are only there for a day.

Get a Breakfast at Proper Bagel

Proper Bagel brings a bit of New York City taste to Nashville, but it is an amazing place to get breakfast. They have all sorts of bagels, sandwiches, baked goods, and salads to help you start the day in the right way.

Stop by Belmont Mansion

Belmont Mansion was commissioned by Adelicia Acklen, considered the wealthiest woman in Tennessee in the 19th century. The place was built in a style of an Italian mansion and featured elaborate gardens and a zoo. It had multiple purposes throughout history before being turned into a museum.

Head to the Country Music Hall of Fame

Of course, any visit to Nashville has to be largely based on country music. This is why you should set aside a big chunk of your time to explore the Country Music Hall of Fame and get familiar with the most important names and events in the genre’s history.

Check out Ryman Auditorium and Other Nearby Music Attractions

There are several other music-related attractions nearby the Country Music Hall of Fame to check out. This includes iconic music venue Ryman Auditorium, Johnny Cash Museum, and Nashville Music Garden.

Grab a Bite to Eat at Etch

Downtown Nashville is a great place to grab a bite to eat after exploring the city’s tourist attractions. You should consider Etch, a charming restaurant run by award-winning chef Deb Paquette which offers eclectic dining.

Make a Trip to Grand Ole Opry

You’ll need to take a bus or an Uber to get to Grand Ole Opry, but it is well worth it. It is one of the most iconic music stages that has been staging weekly shows featuring newcomers and established country music stars since 1925. You can catch one of the live shows or take part in daily tours.

Return to Downtown Nashville for a Great Night Out

Downtown Nashville is the place where you can feel the city’s energy at its best. Head there to catch a live show in one of many bars and get a perfect conclusion to your 24 hours in Nashville.

If you’re looking to escape New York for a few days, or anywhere cold and loud, we have got you covered with this exhilarating and budget friendly itinerary to Antigua, Guatemala. Enjoy hours in the sun, and taste unbelievable chocolate and coffee, and trek up to live volcanos.

Guatemala City, Antigua

Assuming you fly into Gutamala City, Antigua is about an hour drive from the airport on a good traffic day. We recommend booking a shuttle in advance for around $20 or a taxi. It’s also safest to travel there during the day. Enjoy your stay at many budget friendly hostels, hotels, and luxury accommodations!

Walking Tour of Antigua

Start your day with a guided walking tour of Antigua, and walk through the narrow cobblestone streets as you explore historic ruins, colonial architecture, art, and haunting volcanic views. Antigua is a UNISCO World Herritage site for a reason , and simply walking through out will be a sight to remember.

Pacaya Volcano

Take a day hike from Antigua to this active volcano with a guided experience, and experience the heat of moltan lava up close. Make sure to bring some sticks and marshmallows for the ultimate campfire experience!

Street Market

End your day in the street market where you will have the chance to sample Mayan cuisine and shop for art, textiles, and many other unique souvenirs to remember your trip by!
