Destin, Florida

Situated on the Gulf of Mexico, this beach town is perfect for that beach vacation. The town offers beaches with white sand and blue, blue waters, as well as loads of seafood joints selling fresh fish, including mahi-mahi. This is also a great spot for fishing enthusiasts.

Natchitoches, Louisiana

Made famous in the movie Steel Magnolias, Natchitoches is known as the Bed and Breakfast Capital of the state. Famous for jazz and its special mixture of Native American, Creole, and French cultures, the town is well loved for its massive yearly Christmas Festival.

Charlottesville, Virginia

Charlottesville is named after the British Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz and was once home to two American Presidents, Thomas Jefferson and James Monroe.

This quaint but sophisticated town has a vibrant music and food scene, as well as historic buildings, open-air cafes, and plazas. The town is home to the University of Virginia, the most outstanding example of the town’s architecture, attracting thousands of tourists every year.

Eureka Springs, Arkansas

There’s something movie-set-like about the center of Eureka Springs, which abounds with Victorian bed-and-breakfasts. As an extra special treat, most of them are said to be haunted.
