Los Angeles isn’t all about the glitz and glamour. There are so many different things you can do in L.A. outside of visiting the funky streets of Hollywood, and one of those things is going to a sports game. We’re not just talking about the Lakers—we’re talking about the Boys in Blue, the Los Angeles Dodgers. Here’s why watching the Dodgers play is one of the most exciting things you can do in L.A.

A Fun Family Experience

Located in Chavez Ravine, Dodger Stadium is a fun place for all family members to enjoy. At the time of writing this, the Dodgers happen to have the best record in the entire league, so that’s certainly a perk, but Dodger games are fun even when they’re not playing well. Los Angeles has beautiful weather, so sitting outside watching them play is always a pleasant family experience on a Sunday afternoon.

The stadium has been around since the mid-20th century, but they’ve renovated the park since then. From the technologically advanced billboards to the spacious chairs, you won’t be left disappointed at a Dodger game. The organist who plays live music sets the tone immediately when you walk in, and you’ll be enjoying his tunes the entire time. Oh yeah, and when the Dodgers win, the stadium blasts Randy Newman’s famous track “I Love L.A.” What could be better?
