The main attraction that Zambia is known for is Victoria Falls, located in Livingstone. These mighty falls are magnificent to behold and most visitors opt to view the falls from Mosi-O-Tunya Park or take a guided tour of Livingstone Island at the top of the falls.
For the more adventurous visitors, however, you can opt to swim in Devil’s Pool or Angel’s Pool, depending on the season. If you want to go for a dip in the Devil’s Pool, then you need to time it with the seasons. Devil’s Pool is only accessible during the dry season, which lasts from May to November. If the rains have come, then Angel’s Pool will be accessible instead of the Devil’s Pool.
Devil’s Pool is right at the front of Victoria Falls on the Zambian side. Visitors can take a guided tour and go for a dip. There is a rock wall underneath the water, that prevents visitors from being swept over the falls. This is an excellent place to have both a memorable experience and get some unforgettable photos.
