If you’re a passionate amusement park dweller exploring Australia, there’s one place in this country that you shouldn’t miss for the world. Gold Coast, Queensland is home to some of Australia’s very best theme parks, and here are three that will knock you off your feet.

Warner Bros. Movie World

Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast is the first in the series of Warner Bros. parks to open its doors and it remains Australia’s only movie-related theme park. It’s home to some pretty impressive thrill rides including Australia’s longest and tallest roller coaster DC Rivals HyperCoaster. Employees are dressed as characters from Warner Bros. and DC movies and they participate in a parade each afternoon.

Sea World

Not to be confused with the popular American SeaWorld franchise, the oceanographic theme park is superior in many ways. In addition to offering rides, shows, and interactive tours, it’s also known for promoting conservation and rescuing and rehabilitating sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife.

Dreamworld

With over 40 rides and attractions, Dreamworld is Australia’s biggest theme park. It’s divided into several themed lands, such as Ocean Parade, DreamWorks Experience, and Tiger Island. Each one offers its own collection of thrill rides, animal exhibits, shows, and more.
