Google Maps is making it even easier to figure out where to go in that new city.

The app has always been amongst the top apps to download when traveling, thanks to its easy-to-follow directions, accurate bus schedules, and list of attractions in the area. Now, the platform is adding new features to help you make the most of your trip.

Want to know which neighborhoods to visit? Google has your back! A new feature called Neighborhood Vibes will let you see the most popular spots in any neighborhood so you can hang out where the locals do. The new addition has been made possible due to the more than 20 million reviews, photos, and videos that Google Maps users contribute daily.

Another new feature called Immersive View will allow you to check the weather in real-time in a chosen location, so you know whether to pack an anorak or sun hat. It will go hand in hand with the Landmark Aerial View which will offer 250 photorealistic aerial views of key global landmarks like the Tokyo Tower, Empire State Building, and the Acropolis.

These upgrades will be heading to Android and iOS devices in the coming months.
