“Harry Potter” Themed Spots in London, UK to Visit During Spooky Season

With fall fast approaching, many of us are looking forward to heading out for some fun seasonal activities, especially around Halloween. Of course this includes picking out costumes and trick or treating, but what says “Halloween” more than witches, wizards, and a little bit of magic? The United Kingdom is the birthplace of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and the series has served as a source of inspiration for plenty of shops, bars, and other attractions since. There are plenty in London that are worth a visit, especially as we get closer to October.

The Cauldron Co.

Slip on your cloak, grab your magic wand, and head to The Cauldron Co. for an afternoon of potion making. The Cauldron is an immersive, experiential bar where “witches and wizards” can learn how to brew their own molecular “potion” cocktails. It’s not technically affiliated with the HP universe, but will still have you feeling like you’ve entered Snape’s dungeon.

Enigma Quests Escape Room

Enigma Quests Escape Room has an entire 60-minute challenge modeled after life at Hogwarts. Aptly titled “School of Witchcraft and Wizardry,” the room is filled with challenges designed to test players’ cleverness and bravery.

House of MinaLima

We love shopping for HP merch at House of MinaLima in London’s Soho neighborhood. The shop is run by some of the Harry Potter films’ graphic design team and also includes a small museum displaying original works and props from the movies.
