Here’s Where You Should NOT Stay When Traveling with Family

Picking the right accommodation is one of the most important parts of travel planning, and it can make or break your trip – especially when you’re traveling with family. If you’re overwhelmed by the wide range of options, try to narrow down your choices by avoiding these three types of accommodations.

Adult-Only Resorts

Families often stay at luxury resorts, but not all of them have been created with children in mind. Adult-only resorts have become a huge hit with travelers looking for a peaceful place to stay in recent years, but you should avoid them if you’re traveling with kids and explore other options instead.

Bad Location

Accommodation located on the outskirts tends to be cheaper, but it’s not a good option for family trips. Always try to book a hotel or an Airbnb with a central location – you’ll avoid the risk of staying in a potentially unsafe neighborhood and have an easier time reaching all the major attractions.

Hostels

Hostels can save you a lot of money, but there’s a reason why you won’t find any kids in one. They’ve mostly been created with young solo travelers in mind, so they tend to be pretty busy and noisy, in addition to not offering the necessary amenities you’ll need for a comfortable family stay.
