Here’s Why Visiting Only Major Tourist Attractions is Okay

Some people shame travelers that only stick to organized tours and visit famous landmarks with no room for free exploration, but if that’s your travel style, we want you to know that it’s completely okay.

When it comes to traveling, there are definitely no rules you need to follow. Some people simply prefer to have their trip fully organized while others enjoy having freedom in exploring a destination, and both options are great. They both have their unique benefits and appeal to different types of people.

If you’re someone who likes to see all the major landmarks in the new city or country, take a photo from the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, go see the Times Square in New York, or check out Big Ben in London, there’s no reason to feel bad for this. The only downside is that you will probably find big crowds at the most popular sites, but that can also depend on the time of year that you’re visiting.

Sticking to well-known hotels and restaurants also comes with advantages. You probably won’t discover a cool little local restaurant but you will get exactly what you’re expecting and what you paid for. And sometimes, having peace of mind while on vacation is worth a lot more than being adventurous!
