Tickets prices of budget airlines often seem too good to be true… because they actually are. Be careful when booking your flights with Ryanair, Wizz Air, and other low-cost companies, because you’ll end up paying many unexpected fees along the way.

Check-In

Say goodbye to fancy boarding passes that your airline company prints out for you since you won’t be getting one here. You have to check-in online and print or download the boarding pass before reaching the airport unless you want to pay a high fee.

Baggage Fees

If you’re flying with a low-cost airline, standard ticket only includes a carry-on – and that’s not even the case with all of them. Keep in mind you’ll have to pay extra to bring more baggage along, and always check what the rules are so they wouldn’t charge you for every tiny mistake.

Food and Drinks

Eating airplane food is never a delight, even when you’re getting it for free, but that will never be the case on budget airlines. They’ll charge you for snacks and drinks, as well, but you can simply skip them if your flight is not very long.
