The Hollywood Walk of Fame has been described as one of the most disappointing tourist attractions in the world, and it’s not hard to see why. It’s long, it’s crowded and you have to look down the whole time to get to see what you want to see.

Setting clear expectations is a good way to avoid disappointment, but you probably still want some nice pictures to commemorate the moment – and you can get them using these hacks.

Get Down

You’ll literally have to get on the floor to get a good picture of this top tourist spot. The street is so crowded that you won’t be able to get people out of the frame if you’re standing up, so get ready to kneel, sit or even lay down.

Shoes in the Frame

Put on your best pair of shoes once you decide to visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Find the star of your favorite celebrity, and get a photo with your feet in the edge of the frame. This is the best way to get a nice pic without putting too much effort into it.

Time for Props

Are you on the lookout for one special star? Then come prepared! Bring the vinyl record of your favorite singer, prop from the movie that your favorite actor has been in or put on some clothes that give a nod to your favorite Disney character.
