How to Explore a New City with Only 24 Hours on Your Hands

Having a couple of days to explore a new city would be ideal, but not everyone can afford that luxury. If you’re just passing through or short on time, 24 hours is sometimes all you get, but that shouldn’t stop you from putting them to some good use.

Wish List

It’s highly likely you won’t get to see everything that a big city has to offer in a single day, but it doesn’t matter as long as you’ve checked out things that truly interest you. When making your picks, try to opt for attractions that are located in close proximity to each other so you wouldn’t waste time commuting to the other side of the city.

Proper Preparation

You won’t be able to figure things out as you go along when you’re short on time. Do proper research before embarking on your trip, and know exactly what you want to see, how to get there and how much time it will take to check out each spot.

Outside Look

When you only have 24 hours at your disposal, wasting a single second in endless lines is not an option. You’ll have to settle on seeing the majority of top attractions from the outside because you won’t get to explore the rest of the city otherwise.
