Homestays, or Airbnb experiences, can merge the idea of finding a cool place to stay with having an awesome host to take you under their wing. They can show you around the neighborhood, give you tips for which restaurants to go to, and help you out when you’re in a pinch.
Local Events
Another amazing way to meet locals is at special events hosted by the city you’re in. These can be anything from cultural ceremonies to all-out parties, but no matter what it’s a great opportunity to mingle with people there.
