While there are several airport security rules that every traveler seems familiar with, there are some items that even seasoned travelers are unsure of whether or not to pack. Here are the items that the TSA is asked the most about.

Batteries

Often, we pack electronic devices with batteries that we forget to consider. Still, most small regular batteries are permitted on flights by the TSA. Still, it’s important to remember that these batteries are only allowed in your carry-on bags, not your baggage.

Makeup

If your makeup is solid or powdered, you can actually pack as much as you like. It’s only when this makeup is in liquid form that you’ll need to adhere to liquid packing limits.

Deodorant

Even if your deodorant is not in spray form, it’s always good to play things on the same side. Look at the weight of the deodorant written on the bottle to determine if it meets the weight requirements for liquids.
