With almost 80k followers on Instagram, San Francisco based travel writer Kelly Lack is a sort of guru when it comes to vacationing with style. “I love an adventure,” she stated in an interview with Lonny, “I get bored when standing still.”
And though it seems like the whole world came this past months to a complete standstill, it’s nice to be reminded of the joys of traveling. “I love how [traveling] smashes the pre-conceived notions you have about the world,” reminded Lack, “even when you don’t realize you have them! We’re all human, trying to get by and struggling with and finding joy in the same things—only in different settings.”
Aside from a buzzing Instagram page, Lack consults on marketing, content strategy, and social media, with her clients as big as Zappos and Conde Nast Traveler. She’s also worked with and written for lifestyle brands like Cosmopolitan, Harper’s BAZAAR, and Martha Stewart.
With so much going on in the world right now, scrolling through Lack’s past photos might allow some space for serenity and beauty. At least for a moment or two…
