There is a resort in Thailand where you can live in The Shire like Frodo and Bilbo Baggins. The resort is located in Nakhon Ratchasima which is north of Bangkok. It’s called Baan Suan Noi Resort and it’s a replica of the Hobbiton, New Zealand’s most famous tourist spot.
The resort contains multiple hobbit houses, each with big round doors and simple, rustic charm. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom and a TV, so fans can rewatch Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit during their stay.
Amazingly, prices start from $50 per night. Each hobbit house can accommodate up to six people which split between your friends is less than $10 per night.
There’s also plenty of opportunities to dress up like your favorite fantasy characters. Even if you don’t stay the night, the resort is worth visiting just for the photo opp.
