What is the most memorable venue at which you have attended a concert? If you have ever had the opportunity to travel to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado in the United States, chances are pretty good that it would be number one.

Located just minutes outside of downtown Denver, Red Rocks is well known as one of the most unique places on Earth for concerts. This amphitheater opened in 1906 as one of the region’s first entertainment venues, taking advantage of an unforgettable natural setting that lends itself well to the acoustics and the experience of a concert.

Seating up to 9,525 people, this venue is located between the outcrops of large, sand-colored rocks that inspire the name of Red Rocks. No matter where you sit at this amphitheater, you’ll be able to see at least one majestic rock formation that will make you think that you’re on Mars seeing one of your favorite bands play.

If you love the outdoors and want to spend some time in nature before your concert, Red Rocks often is the perfect opportunity to do so as well. The amphitheater is located in the heart of Red Rocks Park, an 868-acre park that allows for hiking, picnicking, and bike riding.

So, if you have the chance, don’t pass up the chance to see a concert at this one-of-a-kind venue!
