The RMS Titanic went down in history as the most infamous ship ever made, and people from all around the world have been fascinated by it for over a century. Despite never sailing anywhere near Brisbane, this Australian city now hosts an exhibit about its voyage, known as “Titanic. The Human Story”.
The Spanish company Musealia joined forces with Titanic historian Claes-Göran Wetterholm to create a unique exhibit that separates fact from fiction and gives voice to the people who once took the voyage on Titanic.
This exhibit is inviting you to “unravel the true story of the ship as you embark on a trip through time bringing you closer to the myths, stories, and the real history of the Titanic”, while you listen to testimonies from Titanic passengers and crew.
Each visitor gets an audio guide that uses a combination of music and sound effects to bring the historical accounts of these people to life. While listening to their testimonies, you’ll get to explore over 300 personal belongings, photographs, and other relics that almost went down with the Titanic on that fateful day in 1912.
