It’s home to a significant number of large mammals, ranging from cheetahs and leopards to zebras and hippos, in addition to being a heaven for bird lovers, with over 400 species living on its grounds.
Groenkloof Nature Reserve
Groenkloof Nature Reserve was the first game sanctuary in all of Africa when it first opened its doors in 1895. Over a century later, this reserve remains home to diverse flora and fauna, including 120 bird species and several game species, including zebras, giraffes, impalas, ostriches, and beyond.
Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve
