The natural beauty of the Philippines has a way of constantly surprising us. Natural wonders are scattered all around this Asian country and some of the very best happen to be its spectacular caves, starting with these three.

Puerto Princesa Cave

In addition to being one of the Philippines’ top tourist attractions, the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is also home to one of its most spectacular caves. The cave is actually known by the name St. Paul’s Underground River Cave and you can join a boat tour to explore its underground river and 15-mile-long cave.

Hinagdanan Cave

Located on Panglao Island, this limestone cave comes with a deep lagoon and many large stalactites and stalagmites. It’s naturally lighted thanks to holes in the ceiling that let the sunlight in. It’s pretty easy to explore it since it’s just 100 meters long and its beautiful rock formations are worth your time.

Callao Cave

Callao is one of 300 caves located inside the municipality of Peñablanca, which literarily translates to “white rock”. These words perfectly describe this spectacular 7-chamber limestone show cave, best known for being home to many beautiful rock formations and a tiny chapel.
