The only days the museum is closed are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. The summer hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and the regular hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The home of America’s favorite pastime honors the history of the sport with tons of interactive exhibits ranging from women in baseball to ballpark anthems and the history of baseball cards. The museum honors the players, managers, executives, and umpires who’ve achieved excellence in the sport.
The most prized part of the museum is the Plaque Gallery which has all of the Hall of Fame members’ bronze plaques that honors the inductee’s achievements.

The Ultimate Fan Experience includes the Hall of Fame Starting Nine, a scavenger hunt built for the ultimate baseball fan where you find your team’s Starting Nine lineup of must-see artifacts. Dodger Stadium is the home of the Dodger Dog, one of the most famous concession items in all of America. This 10-inch pork sausage served in a steamed bun is usually topped with ketchup, mustard, relish, and chopped onions and represents the most typical of baseball foods.
Are you looking for something a little more out-of-the-box? The toasted grasshoppers served at the Seattle Mariners’ home stadium will run you only $5 and give you a crunchy, protein-filled snack that’s delicious if you aren’t too scared to try it. Seasoned with chili and lime, you’ll be surprised at how good this adaptation of a Mexican street food is.
French fry lovers who want to try some of America’s best should make time to go to a Phillies game if they’re ever in Philadelphia. Here, Chickie and Pete’s serves up “Crabfries,” a delicious bucket of seasoned fries that are served with white cheddar dipping sauce in an irresistible combination.

One of the highlights of the stadium is a collection of plaques and retired numbers just beyond the center-field fence. This “open air museum” is an unrivaled collection of artifacts related to the history of Major League Baseball’s most storied franchise.
Yankee Stadium’s most raucous fans are located in the right-field bleachers of the stadium. These fans, known as the “Bleacher Creatures,” have a tradition of going through all of the players on the Yankees’ lineup for every given day, yelling their names, and receiving acknowledgment like a hat tip from each player. It’s a magical tradition that every baseball fan should live at least once.
