]]>Often, the very thing that draws us to a beach island vacation is the slow, relaxed pace of life. But once everybody starts wanting that, the island’s quieter nature gets transformed into something intense and crowded and not nearly as chill as you were hoping.
That’s a little bit of what Bali is like. But Lombok is less developed, has fewer tourists, and feels much less loud and overwhelming. If you want to chill out on a beach, this is the place to go.
Picture paradise and you’ve got Lombok. Between the beaches, the waterfalls, the emerald jungle, the hot springs, the volcano, the varied landscapes, and all of the activities like diving, snorkeling, hiking, and surfing, there is so much beauty and so many different ways to enjoy it.

You can visit the ancient temple Pura Lingsar, where Balinese Hindu culture meets Lombok’s indigenous culture.
