This family-owned shop has been around since 1946 and offers a wide variety of high-quality gifts and souvenirs including food, home goods, and seasonal decor. Be sure to check out the bakery and pick up some locally-made cheese and maple syrup.
Burlington is a small city east of Lake Champlain, and it’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon strolling around before it gets too cold. Its Church Street Marketplace is filled with shops and restaurants and even hosts an annual Christmas market during the holidays!

Vermont has no shortage of bike trails of all levels, but when we’re looking for an easier ride, we love this 5.5-mile path ending in the town of Stowe, Vermont. It follows a river and includes views that really show off the beauty of the state.
This trail spans over 65 miles starting in Kittery at the New Hampshire border and ending in the town of South Portland on the coast. Overall, the trail is considered moderately challenging, though some parts of it are flat and easy to bike on.
