Take a Trip to San Francisco

We were recently suddenly invited to visit San Francisco for a few days. So, without further ado, we packed our bags and headed west to see what this city had in store for us.

Take a trip to a vineyard

Being the wine-lovers that we are, we headed straight out of the city for a day trip to Inglenook, a Tuscan-style vineyard owned by the Coppola family. Visiting this 19th-Century chateau and its grounds takes you way back in time, while the lunch on the terrace was sublimely modern.

Make sure you book a Heritage Tasting in advance to try out the wines produced by the vineyard.

Fine dining at Quince

We had heard about Michael Tusk’s restaurant Quince, so we went there for an outstanding lunch. The restaurant’s décor is gorgeous, and the food is deliciously French-Vietnamese. From feather-light souffles to mounds of caviar, Quince is a fine dining delight.

Indulge in some retail therapy

Frisco is packed full of interesting stores, but we could hardly tear ourselves away from MARCH, a kitchenware store packed full of mouth-watering goodies for the foodie in you. It’s also a great place to shop for gifts.
