Coffee shops and cafes are on every corner in Seoul, but not all of them offer the unique experience most tourists look for. Thanks Nature Café does, especially if you love animals.
This unusual cafe, located in the Hongdae neighborhood, is a place where you can drink some great coffee, eat tasty desserts, and hang out with animals. The resident hosts are pair of adorable sheep, named Bibbi and Bobbi, who eagerly wait for guests to walk in and give them food and some petting. How cool is that?
The sheep are usually in their own corner of the café, where guests can go to interact with them while waiting on their orders. Sometimes, they are allowed to roam the place, walking between the tables and getting all the attention to themselves.
You will be amazed at how fluffy Bibbi and Bobbi are, but that shouldn’t be surprising considering that their owner Lee Kwang-ho brushes them every morning.
Kwang-ho opened Thanks Nature Café in 2011. The place has since become a popular spot for locals thanks to its appearance on the reality show We Got Married. The tourists are frequent guests as well, causing the place to often be packed. However, if you have a chance to visit, make sure to do it.
