Thanks to the advancement of engineering technology, the world has given us some truly amazing roller coasters over the years. North America in particular is home to some of the most impressive theme parks the world has ever seen, with thrilling rides that have broken all kinds of records. But which amusement parks are America’s best? Let’s dive in.

Six Flags Magic Mountain

The Six Flags chain has parks in multiple cities, and naturally, everyone will argue that their city has the best one. However, Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, reigns supreme. A little over an hour’s drive from Los Angeles, this theme park has both the quantity and the quality when it comes to roller coasters. X2, Tatsu, The Riddler’s Revenge, Superman … the list goes on and on. You can go there and thank us later.

Cedar Point

We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention Cedar Point in this article. With a total of 18 roller coasters in the park, many consider this Sandusky, Ohio-based park the roller coaster capital of the world. Out of all of their impressive attractions, perhaps the most impressive is Steel Vengeance, which is the longest and fastest roller coaster in the universe.

Busch Gardens

There are two Busch Gardens, one in Tampa, Florida, and the other in Williamsburg, Virginia. Both of them hold an array of notable rides, but the one in Tampa is arguably the one for the true thrill-seekers.
