Istria

The Croatian peninsula of Istria is located in the western part of the country, near Slovenia and Italy. It’s one of the best camping sites in the country with 26 camps located around cities like Pula, Rovinj, Umag, and Porec. Istria has 50 Blue Flag beaches and plenty of pine forests, which means you will enjoy the magnificent nature during your summer vacation.

Dalmatia

Dalmatia region is also a famous camping spot that offers Mediterranean climate, gorgeous nature, and is known for delicious wines. There are 20 campsites and they are located near the cities of Zadar, Dubrovnik, Split, and Sibenik.

Kvarner

Many believe that Kvarner is one of the best camping sites in the whole of Europe. Enjoy its 28 Blue Flag beaches and don’t miss visiting the islands of Krk, Cres, Losinj, and Rab.
