Spain is a must-visit destination that should be on every serious world traveler’s list. And since it has an incredible number of gorgeous cities and places, sometimes it is hard to put the spotlight on all of them. Some cities, like Valencia, rarely get the attention they deserve, and that’s why they are the real hidden gems of this stunning country.

Valencia is the third largest city in Spain, and it is definitely one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Europe. It has a long and rich history, thanks to the great importance it had in the past because of its geographic location. As a result of this, Valencia is home of many mesmerizing historic sites, especially in the old cobblestone-paved center, such as the Valencia Cathedral.

On the other side, Valencia is a very youthful and vibrant student city, and more than 80,000 young people from all over the world are currently living there. The city fosters a great nightlife scene, offering a wide array of nightclubs and unique alternative bars.

And on top of that, the city and its surrounding area offer terrific beaches! One of them is the city beach Las Arenas, which is a beautiful vast stretch of golden sand.
