The Wheel of Brisbane Offers Some of the Best Views of the City

Many cities around the world have their own gigantic Ferris wheels that offer breathtaking views of the city’s skyline. That’s also the case with Australia’s River City, and the Wheel of Brisbane happens to be one of its most popular landmarks.

This Ferris wheel is impossible to miss due to its imposing size and convenient location on the shores of the South Bank Parklands. It’s open between 10am–6pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and 10am–9pm on Friday and Saturday. The wheel is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

The Wheel of Brisbane has only been around since 2008, but that didn’t stop it from becoming one of the city’s most post popular attractions. It’s one of the best vantage points in Brisbane, and amazing views are the main reason so many people want to take a ride.

At 60 meters high, this iconic Ferris wheel offers spectacular 360-degree panoramic views of Brisbane’s cityscape and famous landmarks. The ride lasts for around 12 minutes, allowing you to fully soak up the views and explore the city from up high.
