There’s a New Disney Cruise for You to Board

Pirates of the Caribbean best beware because Disney has announced its newest cruise to set sail.

The media company already has five ships in its fleet, with Disney Magic having been the first on the water in 1998. The newest addition has been named Disney Treasure and will be the second of three “Triton Class” ships.

Inspired by the theme of adventure, Disney Treasure will draw on architectural design motifs from around the world, including Asia, North Africa, and even the fictional land of Agrabah from Aladdin. The ship’s Grand Hall is set to be gilded in blue and gold, giving a royal feel.

“At the heart of every adventure, there’s a treasure, and we can’t wait for you to create memories aboard this spectacular ship,” said Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, Josh D’Amaro, while at the D23 Expo.

Disney Treasure is only scheduled to set sail in 2024, and will likely cruise around the Bahamas like her sisters. However, it has been announced that Disney Wonder will sail out of Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane in Australia, as well as Auckland, New Zealand, between October 2023 and February 2024.

To quote the little mermaid, we want to be part of that world!
