When we’re packing for a trip, no matter how long it is, many of us suffer from the same syndrome: packing-too-much syndrome. It’s quite normal to fall for this trick, because when we’re traveling to somewhere unknown, especially if it’s a place we’re not used to, we tend to overcompensate with packing. We somehow think we’ll need every last item we’ve ever owned, but this is far from true. If you struggle with this as well, here are things you can leave at home while packing.

Non-Seasonal Clothes

Even when traveling to a warm place, we still manage to find reasons to pack tons of warm clothing. We ask ourselves questions such as, “But what if it gets cold one night?”, and things of that nature. Listen bud, there’s no need to worry. Don’t pack your warm clothes. Worst case scenario, you can buy warm clothes wherever you’re traveling to.

iPads and Gaming Devices

When it comes to iPads and gaming devices such as a Nintendo Switch, there really is no reason for you to bring it. You’ll add clutter to your already brimming suitcase, and you’ll run the risk that either of them will get stolen. And besides, you’re probably better off separating yourself from all these extra electronics while you’re traveling to somewhere exotic.
