This Beautiful Swiss Village is Surrounded By 72 Waterfalls

Lauterbrunnen is a beautiful Swiss village located in the Swiss Alps. It’s surrounded by huge mountains, peaceful meadows, valleys, and an impressive 72 waterfalls! The most famous waterfall is the Staubbach Falls that’s nearly 300 meters tall, which makes it one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in Europe.

You can easily spend 3 active days in the valley and still not see everything it has to offer. There are only around 2,000 people living here, but many tourists visit the area every year.

The charming village consists of several streets packed with homes, stores, and restaurants. You can reach many amazing places by foot, and even the Staubbach Falls is only a short walk away from the village.
