This Bike Path in Quebec is the Perfect Date

You can take a biking trail on a railway through the Quebec forests, and it looks like the perfect way to escape the city.

Les Vélorails de Beaulac-Garthby runs through the forest by a lake in Chaudière-Appalaches. The 10 km trail offers stunning views of Quebec’s natural environment. It is ideal for people who aren’t fans of long hikes and bike rides, as the bike rail-trails are far less strenuous.

There are three routes to choose from. The first is a 10-kilometre round trip and costs CAD$30. For CAD$20 extra, you can double your journey for a 20 km round trip. And if you don’t feel up for pedaling the whole way, you can hire a battery-powered bike to speed things along.

The prices are per bike and not per person, so if you’re on a budget, Les Vélorails de Beaulac-Garthby is a wonderful date idea. Pack a picnic, bring your camera, and enjoy Quebec’s beautiful landscapes.
