Basel is safely tucked away on the border between Switzerland, France, and Germany, and it’s a heaven on Earth for art lovers. Jean Tinguely was a famed Swiss artist and sculptor, best known for his kinetic art, and you can find an entire museum dedicated to his body of work in Basel. His wife donated 55 of his sculptures to the museum, but you can also find pieces by several of his contemporaries on its premises.
