If you’re the type to like the weird and even macabre, the strange and off the beaten path, you might be less into the traditional, typical, touristy travel destinations like the Eiffel tower and more interested in one of the unusual landmarks on this list. Check them out!

Museum of Death in New Orleans, Louisiana

This one is for all of the lovers of the creepy and spooky out there. In New Orleans, you can visit a museum dedicated to, yes, death. They display everything from skulls to crime scene photos to letters from serial killers and antique mortician tools. You’ll probably want to leave the kids at home for this one.

Ben & Jerry’s Flavor Graveyard in Waterbury, Vermont

This one’s also a monument to death, but of the more light-hearted variety. In their home state of Vermont, Ben and Jerry of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream keep a graveyard dedicated to all of their retired flavors like Wavy Gravy and This is Nuts. You can pay your respects to the fallen flavors here.

Time Travel Mart in Los Angeles, California

If you like feeling like you’re in the past, you’ll definitely want to stop by Time Travel Mart the next time you’re in LA. It’s stocked full of products that’ll take you back in time like dinosaur eggs, time machine watches, and postcards from the past.
