Where to Shop in Madrid

For many of us, a great trip to a new city includes much more than site-seeing and trying out the local food. We want to spend some time—and money—shopping around. Luckily for those of you traveling to Madrid, the city is packed with different kind of styles, which allow anyone to find out what they like.

Gran Via

Known as the Spanish Broadway, the main street of the Spanish capital is also a great place for shopping. Here you can find some of the most known international and Spanish brands—such as Zara, Primark (5-story high!), Bershka and Mango. Soccer lovers and collectors would also be able to enjoy the official store of the famous soccer club Real Madrid.

Calle de Serrano

Like it or not, for some of us part of the fun is spending a lot of money while shopping for famous brands. For others, just walking around and watching what haute couture fashion houses have to offer is also entertaining. If you enjoy any of these activities, Calle de Serrano is the street for you, as it is packed with all the luxury brands you can imagine—such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Kenzo and many more.

Chueca

Known as one of the most open-minded and vibrant neighborhoods of Madrid, this LGBT+ area of the city offers many small shops of local designers and artists, as well as pop-up stores selling everything that is fashionable, hype and queer.
